1. Information we handle
Depending on how you use Ask Dasha, information may include:
- Account details such as your name, mobile number or email address and login verification information.
- Birth-profile details such as date, time and place of birth, plus profiles you choose to save for family members or partners.
- Questions and conversations including sensitive relationship, family, career, money or personal topics that you voluntarily share.
- Membership records including subscription status, invoices, applicable taxes, cancellations and refund requests.
- Technical information such as device, browser, language, approximate region, security logs and how the service performs.
- Saved preferences such as guide choices, goals, timing windows and reminder settings.
Please do not share someone else’s private information unless you have their permission to do so.
2. How information is used
Ask Dasha may use information to calculate and display astrology guidance, continue conversations, save your chart context, manage membership, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability and comply with applicable law.
Guide conversations are generated by the Ask Dasha service using the information you provide. Guide names and portraits are presentation elements rather than individual human professionals, and the membership does not include a live-person consultation unless one is expressly offered.
Astrology is a belief-based guidance service. Birth data and conversation content are used to provide the experience you request; they are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.
3. Payments and taxes
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Ask Dasha may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, plan information and limited billing details, but should not need to store your full card or UPI credentials. The final amount, including applicable GST, is shown before payment.
4. Storage, security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect account and conversation data. No internet service can promise absolute security, so use a strong device lock and do not share verification codes.
Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type and applicable law.
5. Your privacy choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete eligible account information, remove saved birth profiles, cancel membership and request account closure through the account or support experience. Some transaction, security or legal records may need to be retained.
Browser storage may remember your language and session preferences. You can clear this through your browser, although doing so may reset local preferences or sign you out.
6. Sensitive topics and children
Ask Dasha is not designed for children under 18 to use independently. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact support so the request can be reviewed.
Do not use Ask Dasha for emergencies. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional when immediate safety, health, legal or financial help is required.
7. Service providers and legal requests
Limited information may be shared with vendors that help operate hosting, authentication, payments, security, analytics or customer support, subject to appropriate terms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect users, the service or the public.
8. Questions or requests
Write to support@askdasha.com or use the support option in your Ask Dasha account for privacy questions, data requests or account deletion. Before fulfilling a request, Ask Dasha may need to verify that you control the relevant account.
This policy may change as the service develops. Material updates will be dated here and, where appropriate, shown in the member experience.
