1. Who can use Ask Dasha (18+)
Ask Dasha is offered only to adults who are 18 years of age or older and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You must not create an account, purchase a consultation or use the service if you are under 18. The service is not designed for minors, and we do not knowingly offer it to them; if we learn an account belongs to a minor, we may close it and refund eligible unused payments.
When you create an account you confirm that the information you provide — including your name, contact details and birth details — is accurate and yours to share, and that you meet this age requirement.
2. What the service is
Ask Dasha provides interpretive Vedic astrology guidance: a daily briefing computed from the birth details you save, an explorable chart, digital readings and reports, and paid consultations. Astrology on Ask Dasha is a belief-based guidance service offered for reflection, planning and entertainment purposes. It is described in more detail in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Marketing pages may show clearly-labelled demonstration data to illustrate the product. Features, prices and availability can change as the service develops.
3. Your account and responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Provide accurate birth details — guidance computed from wrong details will be wrong.
- Do not share another person’s private information without their permission.
- Use the service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes; do not scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or disrupt it.
- Treat astrologers and support staff respectfully; abusive behaviour can end a session without refund.
4. Payments and pricing
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees with applicable taxes (including GST) before you confirm any payment. Consultations are billed at the fixed price shown beside the astrologer; the session timer starts only when the astrologer joins — never while you wait in a queue — and minutes lost to a weak network are paused, not billed. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; Ask Dasha does not store your full card or UPI credentials.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If a payment fails or is reversed after a service has been delivered, we may suspend the account until it is resolved.
5. Prohibited uses and prohibited predictions
Some predictions are illegal or harmful, and Ask Dasha bans them on both sides of a consultation. Astrologers on the platform must not offer, and users must not request:
- Sex or gender determination of an unborn child, in any form, direct or indirect — this violates the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC&PNDT) Act, 1994.
- Gambling, betting, lottery or speculative-trading outcomes — numbers, match results, market tips or any prediction meant to be wagered on.
- Predictions that facilitate illegal activity of any kind.
- Predictions of death or terminal outcome for yourself or another person.
- Medical diagnoses or cures — an astrologer may discuss timing and outlook, never diagnose illness or promise healing.
Violations may lead to immediate session termination without refund, account closure, and reporting where the law requires it.
6. No guarantees
Astrological readings, predictions, timing windows and suggested remedies are interpretive. They carry no guaranteed outcome. A verdict is our honest reading of a chart, not a promise about the future; a remedy is a traditional or symbolic practice, not a mechanism with assured results. Do not make irreversible decisions on the strength of a prediction alone.
7. Limitation of liability
You remain responsible for your own decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Dasha, its operators, employees and the astrologers on the platform are not liable for any loss, damage or consequence arising from actions or choices you make based on guidance received through the service — including financial, relationship, career, legal or health decisions.
To the same extent, our aggregate liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Ask Dasha in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Content and intellectual property
The Ask Dasha name, wordmark, design, software and content belong to Ask Dasha or its licensors. You may use the service for personal purposes but may not copy, republish or commercially exploit it. You retain your own journal entries and questions; you grant us the limited licence needed to store and process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from the account settings or by writing to support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, abuse the service or create risk for other users, and we may refuse service where the law requires it. Sections 5–8 survive termination.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Ask Dasha’s registered place of business in India. We would genuinely rather resolve a problem over email first — write to us before anything else.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops; material changes will be dated here and, where appropriate, shown in the member experience. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
